Description
The Teacher will instruct, monitor progress, and manage the discipline of pupils in an assigned class under the supervision of the school principal. Responsibilities include lesson planning, curriculum instruction, student evaluation, attendance and conduct records, parent communication, professional development, and participation in field trips and extracurricular activities. The role requires successful completion of student teaching and coursework for an Illinois teaching certificate, a valid Illinois Professional Educator License or Educator License with Stipulations endorsed for the position, subject-matter knowledge, classroom-management skills, and strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
