Description
The Terminal Operations Manager manages and controls freight operations for a local terminal, coordinating employees, resolving complaints, interviewing and coaching candidates, enforcing compliance, reviewing financial and operational reports, and improving processes. The role is primarily office-based but requires frequent dock and yard work, including exposure to weather, noise, dust, moving equipment, and occasional freight loading or unloading. It requires a high school diploma or GED, U.S. work authorization, English communication ability, and preferably a bachelor’s degree, five or more years of terminal operations experience, and Microsoft Office proficiency. The position may require extended hours, travel between facilities, and operation of a motor vehicle.
