Description
The Test & Commissioning Engineer will test and commission generator control and protection systems at thermal power plant sites, including generator exciters, static frequency converters, control panels, protection relays, and auto synchronizers. Responsibilities include site testing, interface checks, generator commissioning, pre- and post-GT start-up tests, load rejection and performance tests, and grid-compliance testing. The role requires 6 to 12 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in thermal power plant testing and commissioning, and may involve overseas assignments primarily in the United States and Asia.
