Description
Karman Industries is hiring a Test & Development Engineer to support the development of electric heat pumps and the Thermal01 heat pump platform. The role owns structural, thermal, and turbomachinery hardware, designs and builds test fixtures and electromechanical systems, assembles and troubleshoots first-of-kind thermal systems, develops automated testing and logging software, and participates in design reviews, hazard analyses, and full-scale system qualification. The position requires at least three years of product development or testing experience, familiarity with mechanical and electrical controls, PLC and instrumentation experience, and the ability to work with limited documentation.
