Description
The Test & Failure Analysis (FA) Engineering Assistant Manager oversees and coordinates test and failure analysis activities for existing and new products in Houston. The role leads engineers, technicians, and operators; manages staffing, training, recruitment, performance management, and coaching; maintains test equipment and fixtures; supports manufacturing testing and failure analysis; develops test processes; leads root-cause investigations and CAPA activities; and ensures compliance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, experience with SMT, PCB assembly, or high-volume manufacturing, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
