1X is hiring a Test and Validation Supervisor in San Carlos to lead and scale the Test and Validation Technician organization responsible for engineering validation of humanoid robotic systems. The role builds and mentors technical teams, manages laboratory operations, equipment availability, calibration, maintenance, inventory, and facility readiness, and partners with engineering, manufacturing, facilities, and leadership teams to improve validation throughput and product quality. Candidates need at least 10 years of experience in product development, validation, reliability, or laboratory testing, 3 years leading technical support organizations, a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience, and experience managing laboratory operations. The position offers a $103,000–$126,000 compensation range and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
