Description
The role reviews and executes test plans for power-electronic systems, prepares and maintains test equipment, troubleshoots and repairs products and equipment, generates test reports, supports product design improvements, trains engineers and technicians, directs subcontractors, and leads quality and continuous-improvement activities. It requires an associate degree in electronics or equivalent and 4–6 years of hands-on manufacturing or R&D experience, along with expertise in PCB and electrical-system troubleshooting, IGBT and thyristor power systems, high-current and high-voltage testing, safety procedures, and electronic test equipment.
