Description
Astro Mechanica is hiring a Test Engineer to design, fabricate, operate, and improve test infrastructure for jet engine and subsystems hardware research and development. The role involves creating test stands and fixtures, analyzing fluid-system performance, developing test plans and instrumentation schemes, documenting procedures, validating models, conducting hardware testing, and implementing safety practices. Candidates need at least two years of hands-on experience with propulsion, fluidic, or mechanical systems, including hardware testing and analysis, along with knowledge of hazardous environments, fluid-system instrumentation, data analysis, and CAD.
