Description
Blue Origin is hiring a Test Engineer in its Lunar Permanence business unit to plan and execute tests for Blue Moon lunar lander flight and development hardware. The role leads daily test operations, coordinates test crews and technicians, operates test consoles, performs root-cause and failure investigations, manages test support equipment and procedures, supports test readiness and post-test reviews, and enforces safety policies. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or a related technical discipline, at least three years of aerospace test campaign experience, proficiency with 3D CAD and structural analysis fundamentals, and eligibility under U.S. export-control requirements. Desired experience includes space vehicle testing, cryogenic systems, instrumentation and data acquisition, hazardous operations, scripting, mechanical systems, GD&T, machining, and fatigue and damage tolerance.
