Chariot Defense is hiring an onsite Test Engineer in San Bruno, California to own hardware validation across mechanical, electrical, thermal, power electronics, controls, and environmental systems. The role develops automated test equipment, test stations, DAQ systems, test scripts, and validation programs; executes component, subsystem, and system-level testing; collaborates with firmware and design teams; and supports HIL/SIL validation and test-lab infrastructure. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, at least 2–3 years of professional or immersive-system experience, hardware test and ATE experience, Python or LabVIEW proficiency, high-voltage safety experience, and strong prototyping and CAD skills. The position offers $120,000–$160,000 annually plus equity and benefits.
