Description
Eaton is hiring a Test Engineer to lead Factory Acceptance Test activities with customers, develop FAT scripts, troubleshoot and test primary MV switchgear, ATS, secondary panels, protection relays, PLCs, and IEC61850 logic. The role also covers root-cause analysis, manufacturing technical support, HV maintenance program reviews, engineering input for switchgear, and digitalization and automation initiatives using data visualization, reporting dashboards, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, and AI-supported analysis. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required, preferably in Electric & Electronics; new graduates may be trained for the role, and experience with electrical testing, statistical analysis, and MV/HV switchgears is sought.
