Description
Samtec, Inc. is hiring a 100% on-site Test Engineer in Z Free Zone, Montecillos de Alajuela, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The role supports HDR cable assembly electrical testing by designing test tooling, reviewing PCB and fixture designs, creating process documentation and test programs, qualifying test systems, troubleshooting low- and high-speed test systems, performing failure analysis, maintaining serialization systems, and supporting transfer and sustaining improvement projects. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, advanced English, Python and C++ serialization scripting, at least five years of PCB board design experience, SolidWorks and AutoCAD, PCB manufacturing knowledge, electrical testing knowledge, schematic and datasheet interpretation, and strong communication skills.
