Shield AI is hiring an early-career Test Engineer to support the testing and verification of X-BAT battery energy storage systems. The role involves setting up and operating battery test systems, configuring thermal chambers, cyclers, instrumentation, sensors, fixtures, harnesses, and data-acquisition equipment; executing electrochemical and system-level tests; troubleshooting; analyzing test data; and supporting external qualification testing. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, or San Diego, California, and requires a relevant bachelor's degree, hands-on battery or electrochemical experience, hardware-testing and troubleshooting experience, and familiarity with benchtop electrical equipment.
