Description
The Test Engineer designs, develops, and implements testing and troubleshooting methods for systems and equipment across product development and manufacturing. Responsibilities include preparing test programs, designing test fixtures and instrumentation systems, developing data-analysis software, analyzing test data, preparing technical reports, and leading customer witness tests. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, or a related field, or an equivalent military certification or associate degree with 1–2 years of UPS-unit experience, plus 3–4 years of experience. Knowledge of high-power three-phase circuits, analog and digital electronics, and standard electrical instruments is preferred. The position involves physical work around moving machinery and requires protection equipment; Vertiv does not provide work authorization sponsorship.
