Description
SpaceX is hiring a Test Engineer, Compute Payload (Starmind) to validate hardware for on-orbit AI processing and data center workloads. The role owns test processes, physical test infrastructure, tooling, hardware requirements, manufacturing metrics, and root-cause analysis, while collaborating with mechanical design, engineering, and production teams. It requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least one year of relevant manufacturing or test experience, with additional experience in systems integration, CAD, process qualification, automation, ERP/MRP/MES, pressurized systems, and instrumentation preferred. The position requires extended hours and weekends, physical work in tight spaces, and up to 15% travel.
