Inspired Flight is hiring a full-time Test Engineer for its in-office headquarters in San Luis Obispo, California. The role validates complex drone systems through bench and flight testing, develops and executes test plans, analyzes test data, documents results, operates drones and test equipment, troubleshoots failures, and identifies design improvements. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, 0–2 years of experience for level 1 or 2–5 years for level 2, and experience with UAS/drone systems, flight controller software, or ground control stations. Compensation ranges from $76,000 to $113,000 depending on level, with health, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) match, and a quarterly team bonus.
