Northrop Grumman is hiring a Test Engineer Level 2/3 in Sunnyvale, California, to perform system-level tests of turbine-generators and gear-driven propulsion units for submarines and aircraft carriers. The role involves integrating data-acquisition systems, programming automation routines, acquiring and analyzing data, controlling test conduct, and writing procedures and reports. It requires 12.5-hour shifts, including 30–70% night-shift support, and may require travel to field sites. The position requires a STEM degree, relevant experience, benchtop instrumentation and circuit-diagram skills, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
