Description
The Test Engineer – NPI Development supports the full lifecycle of new semiconductor product introduction, from pre‑silicon RTL and GLS simulation through post‑silicon ATE validation, characterization, qualification, and mass production release. The role develops and debugs test programs, contributes to design‑for‑test and test methodology improvements, collaborates with design, product, validation, and manufacturing teams, and prepares test documentation and analysis. It requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering or a related field, semiconductor and microcontroller fundamentals, basic programming or scripting knowledge, and strong analytical and debugging skills; automotive‑grade quality and reliability experience is preferred.
