Description
Apple is seeking a Packaging Design Engineer to develop hardware and software test systems, create metrology and failure-analysis metrics, coordinate with internal and supplier teams, and statistically analyze data to assess risks and recommend improvements. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, physics, materials science, or a similar field, at least three years of new-product-development experience, strong engineering fundamentals, and the ability to travel up to 20%. An advanced degree, data-driven problem-solving, project-management experience, and knowledge of packaging testing standards are preferred.
