Description
Saab is hiring a Test Engineer for its Structural Testing section to design, assemble, and execute strength and fatigue tests on aircraft structures, primarily for the JAS 39 Gripen. The role involves developing test programs, sizing and assembling test rigs, operating control and measurement systems, and preparing test reports. The engineer will work in both the test hall and office, collaborating with test engineers and strength engineers. A Bachelor of Science in Engineering in mechanical engineering or an equivalent background is required, while CAD knowledge, particularly Catia v5, and experience with hydraulics, strength engineering, or measurement technology are advantageous. The position requires security clearance approval.
