The Test Engineering intern will support Test Engineers in designing, assembling, and validating automated test solutions for NI products in T&M Manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities include designing or revising custom printed circuit boards for test fixtures, developing production test code, qualifying instruments, and analyzing production test data. The role requires a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred qualifications include programming in LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python, analog signal and measurement-error knowledge, instrumentation selection, statistical analysis, hardware-software integration, electronic hardware experience, and high-frequency, RF, or wireless communication experience.
