Description
The Test Facilities Specialist Technician supports the Welland Maintenance team by assisting Plant Electricians and Production Technicians with Test Cells, performing electrical, mechanical, PLC, instrumentation, control-system, and machinery maintenance and repair work. The role includes commissioning equipment, troubleshooting, calibration, IR imaging, machine connectivity, documentation, and coordination with external service providers. It requires a three-year engineering technology diploma and at least three years of manufacturing experience across mechanical assembly, automation, robotics, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, CNC controls, SCADA, HMI, and servo systems. The position is fully on-site in the plant, requires personal protective equipment, and offers a salary of $93,000 to $109,000.
