Description
Coherent is hiring a Test Systems Engineer to design, develop, integrate, commission, troubleshoot, and optimize automated burn-in and electro-optical test systems for laser diode manufacturing. The role combines electrical control systems, PLC and software development, measurement hardware, instrumentation, system integration, and production equipment development, with collaboration across manufacturing, process engineering, and product development. Candidates should have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical field, experience with electrical control systems and production equipment, analog electronics and measurement hardware knowledge, C# or another object-oriented programming language, SQL experience, and several years of industrial automation or tooling development experience.
