Description
Coherent Corp. is hiring a Test Technician to support the production of high-power CO2 lasers at its Bloomfield, Connecticut facility. The role involves troubleshooting optical and electrical systems, operating laser beam analyzers, optical power meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes, reading drawings and schematics, and supporting lean and quality initiatives. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with requirements including technical associate-level education or related training, opto-mechanical or electronics test experience, mechanical and electrical assembly experience, and approximately four years of experience with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, vacuum systems, and electrical equipment.
