Description
The role performs power-conversion equipment testing, troubleshooting, repair, and pre-shipment inspection. Responsibilities include evaluating products against NEC and UL/CSA standards, operating and configuring switchgear and power-tie equipment, using measuring instruments and computer test programs, documenting results, and repairing defective parts. The position requires electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, basic computer skills, and familiarity with hypot testers, multimeters, wave and power analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
