Description
The Hypersonic Test Engineer will participate in propulsion, structural, instrumentation, and other test activities for a hypersonic vehicle, support test-stand setup, upgrades, and maintenance, and conduct extended testing at Ellington Airport. The role requires at least four years of relevant experience, fabrication and instrumentation skills, pump and booster operation, forklift and lift operation, troubleshooting, hazmat knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Technical expertise in R&D test operations, GSE fabrication, propulsion systems, pressurized gases and liquids, and A&P certification are preferred. The position involves access to ITAR-controlled technology and requires eligibility for the required U.S. authorizations.
