Description
Eversource Energy is hiring one Test Technician to provide test services supporting the operation, maintenance, construction, and troubleshooting of substations and electrical equipment. The role performs power-factor and breaker-timing tests, relay testing, cable proof and fault locating, technical calculations, transformer testing, and other electrical equipment tests, with progression through four steps toward Test Specialist eligibility. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology, an associate's degree in electrical engineering or electrical technology, or equivalent math and science education, plus a valid motor vehicle license; no prior experience is required for Level 1. The position starts at Step $43.67 and requires on-call availability, emergency response, and passing the TECH test.
