Amazon LEO is hiring a Mechanical Automation Engineer to design, build, commission, and maintain automated test infrastructure for satellite and customer-terminal hardware. The role covers robotic handling systems, industrial robots, machine vision, PLC and SCADA control, fixtures, FEA validation, precision metrology, and end-to-end project management. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or above in a relevant engineering field, at least three years of mechanical design and industrial automation experience, and experience with CAD, PLM, GD&T, robotics, metrology, and control systems. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of $96,600 to $160,000 annually.
