Description
The Tester (Test Operator) performs functional, electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products to verify compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards. The role operates and verifies test equipment, documents results, identifies nonconformances, troubleshoots basic issues, monitors quality compliance, and supports production and continuous-improvement objectives. A high school diploma or GED is required, while technical certification, vocational training, military electronics training, and 1–3 years of manufacturing or electronics testing experience are preferred.
