Description
The Materials Testing Technician performs laboratory and field tests on construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt; records and reports results; manages testing turnaround schedules; supports client relationships and laboratory certifications; maintains equipment and vehicles; and follows safety procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, basic computer and mathematical skills, and the ability to work outdoors in variable weather, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and occasional overtime or weekend work.
