The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate is hiring a permanent Theatre Practitioner for 37.5 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern. The role supports surgical and anaesthetic teams by preparing instruments and equipment, maintaining sterility, assisting with airway management and patient positioning, monitoring patients, managing pain and nausea, and supporting post-operative care. Applicants must be registered as an NMC nurse or HCPC Operating Department Practitioner, have theatre experience or training in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery, and understand infection control, manual handling, and patient safety.
