Busara is seeking a Workforce Development Thematic Expert focused on Kenya’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector to support a short-term, 10-day engagement over three months beginning September 2026. The role will review the TVET ecosystem, assess program outcomes and institutional capacity, conduct stakeholder interviews, identify barriers and opportunities for youth participation, and produce reports and recommendations for the Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works Strategy. Candidates need an advanced degree in education or vocational training, 8–10 years of relevant TVET experience in Kenya, qualitative fieldwork experience, and knowledge of Kenya’s TVET policy and accreditation frameworks.
