CERN is hiring a Theoretical Physicist for a limited-duration, fully onsite research position in the Theoretical Physics Department. The role involves contributing to theoretical research in elementary particle physics, collaborating with experimental physicists and CERN committees, maintaining external scientific contacts, and participating in training and scientific events. Candidates need a PhD or equivalent relevant experience, post-doctoral research experience with peer-reviewed publications, and knowledge of computational and mathematical physics, particle physics phenomenology, and theoretical physics. The contract is for five years, with possible extension to eight years and eligibility for an indefinite position.
