Description
The Therapeutic Horticulture Program Instructor develops, prepares, and facilitates nature-based therapeutic horticulture programs for adults and children in healthcare, senior living, and social service settings. The role delivers programs primarily in the St. Louis community and at the Missouri Botanical Garden, coordinates with partner organizations, manages supplies, supports program evaluation, and enforces safety standards. It requires 3–5 years of experience facilitating nature-based programs, a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in horticulture or a related field, First Aid/CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel locally and work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
