Description
The Therapeutic Program Worker supports adults in a residential behavioral health setting by helping them develop independent living and social skills, implementing individualized service and behavior plans, monitoring progress, documenting care, maintaining a safe and clean facility, de-escalating crises, and transporting consumers to appointments. The role is hourly, based at Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare in Athens, Ohio, with first-, second-, and third-shift options and possible weekend or holiday work. Applicants must have basic arithmetic, reading, writing, and speaking skills; a valid driver’s license is required for transportation duties.
