Description
The Behavioral Health Counselor provides assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups with substance abuse issues. The role also includes community consultation, education, staff orientation and training, team supervision, and participation in service planning and implementation. It requires a master's degree in a behavioral-health-related field, a current New Mexico counseling, social work, psychology, LSAA, or LADAC license, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, culturally informed setting. Compensation is $61,118 to $81,563, with health, dental, and vision insurance among the benefits.
