Description
The Counseling Specialist provides individualized therapeutic counseling to teens and adults with developmental disabilities and their families, including grief counseling, anxiety support, impulse-control support, relationship counseling, referrals, treatment planning, progress reporting, session documentation, and community outreach. The role requires a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor, at least three years of experience working with teens and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and experience in a therapeutic setting.
