Description
The Therapist LSW/PC provides individual counseling to adults with psychotic, emotional, substance use, and dual-diagnosis disorders; conducts formal assessments; develops treatment plans; collaborates with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, case managers, and other providers; and provides crisis intervention. The role requires a master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, or a closely related field, one year of clinical mental health counseling experience, and extensive experience across ICD, risk assessment, crisis intervention, behavioral and functional assessments, social services, TF-CBT, CBT, CBT-P, diagnosis, motivational interviewing, DBT, severe psychosis, multicultural populations, and group counseling. The position is based at Upper Valley Professional Corporation in Dayton, Ohio.
