Description
Apple is seeking a Thermal Engineer to define and design thermal solutions for products from initial concept through design fruition. The role focuses on meeting thermal objectives, optimizing user experience, providing analysis and thermal insight, leading thermal solution design and implementation, participating in design reviews and technology investigations, optimizing thermal control parameters, conducting experiments, analyzing test data, and communicating results to cross-functional teams and management. The position requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least five years of thermal design experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; additional expertise in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermal components, consumer electronics validation, and CFD or CAD tools is preferred.
