Description
Gotion Inc. is hiring a full-time Thermal Engineer – Battery Systems to lead thermal and CFD analysis for battery cells, modules, packs, cooling plates, and thermal propagation mitigation in next-generation electric vehicle and energy storage systems. The role collaborates with OEM customers, product development, simulation, manufacturing, testing, and supply chain teams; correlates simulation results with physical test data; supports DFMEA and design reviews; and requires onsite work at Gotion’s Manteno, Illinois facility. Candidates need a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field, at least three years of high-voltage battery pack thermal design and simulation experience, and proficiency with CAE tools such as COMSOL, ANSYS Fluent, or STAR-CCM+. The US base salary range is $90,000 to $128,000 plus a 15% bonus and benefits.
