Description
Apex is hiring a Thermal Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize spacecraft thermal systems for satellite buses. The role involves developing thermal models with Ansys Thermal Desktop, collaborating on thermal control systems for avionics and electro-mechanical components, planning thermal vacuum and thermal cycling tests, developing passive and active thermal hardware, supporting milestone reviews, correlating models with flight and test data, and overseeing flight hardware integration and quality control. The position requires at least three years of spacecraft thermal modeling experience and one year of thermal testing experience, with additional aerospace standards, thermal hardware, and software qualifications preferred.
