Description

The Thermal Control Engineer will own thermal design, analysis, stability, heat management, interfaces, and test-model correlation for an optical terminal, bench, and future flight payload. The role partners with optomechanical, optical design, amplifier, electronics, and satellite systems teams to maintain sub-micron optical alignment and develop a thermal roadmap from demonstrator through field and orbit deployment. Candidates should have thermal design and analysis expertise, structural-thermal-optical reasoning, electronics and high-power-component cooling experience, hands-on thermal testing, and a relevant degree with modeling skills.
