C12 is hiring a Thermal Modeling & Cryogenic Systems Engineer to develop and maintain thermal models for complex cryogenic quantum hardware, define thermal budgets, evaluate cryogenic architectures, design thermalization strategies, and validate models against experimental measurements. The role requires a PhD in a relevant field or a master’s degree with at least five years of industry experience, strong thermal and cryogenic expertise, hands-on experience with dilution refrigerators and multi-stage cryogenic platforms, and programming experience for data analysis and model automation. The position offers a yearly base salary of 65,000 to 78,000 euros, stock options, conference travel, meal vouchers, mental health support, training, and sabbatical leave.
