Description
The Thermal Spray Coating Technician supports the repair and manufacturing of critical turbine parts by preparing surfaces, handling spray materials, and applying HVOF and plasma coatings to industrial gas turbine components. The role includes monitoring coating quality, performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, documenting process data, and complying with safety requirements. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of thermal-spray or industrial gas turbine coating experience, knowledge of HVOF and plasma processes, blueprint-reading ability, and availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
