Description
The Thermal Spray Technician I (SHIP) supports shipboard field operations by preparing and applying thermal spray coatings to steel decks, structural components, and marine equipment aboard Naval vessels. The role includes sandblasting, surface cleaning, measuring coating thickness, handling portable thermal spray equipment, completing documentation, following safety procedures, and supporting quality inspections. It is an entry-level, full-time field-service position requiring travel to domestic and international work sites at least 75% of the time, with a pay range of $20.00 to $29.00 per hour and benefits including dental and vision coverage.
