Description
The Thermoforming Operator reports to the Molding Shift Supervisor and operates, sets up, maintains, troubleshoots, and documents sheet extrusion and thermoforming equipment, molds, tooling, and parts-handling systems. The role includes raw-material blending, machine start-up and shutdown, cleaning, minor repairs, quality inspection, SPC data collection, process adjustments, and support for new-product test runs. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of experience in plastic sheet extrusion and/or thermoforming, computer literacy, and the ability to lift and carry more than 50 pounds.
