Thesis Project, 30 credits (two students) – More Effective Improvement Work Through Digitalization, Standardization, and Lean at AstraZeneca

AstraZeneca is hiring two thesis students to develop a shared digital and visual continuous-improvement system across its Södertälje pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The project involves analyzing current improvement processes, observing improvement meetings, developing a PDCA-based standard, analyzing losses, proposing digital and visual solutions, defining metrics, and creating a pilot and implementation plan. The project runs during the spring semester of 2027, requires a relevant master's degree and production engineering knowledge, and is based on the Södertälje facility with work across production, laboratory, and office areas.
