Description
Toyota Material Handling is seeking one or two thesis students for a 20-week project in its computational engineering department. The project develops simulation methodology for stability testing of electric warehouse trucks, including selecting a simulation tool, creating multi-body models with flexible bodies, clearances, parameterization, and contacts, calibrating the model against physical tests, and adapting it across truck variants. The project is intended for a future Master of Science in Engineering student in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field interested in strength of materials, starts in January 2026, and applications were due by 2026-11-01.
