Thesis Project – The Relationship Between Temperatures at the Core Outlet in a Pressurized Water Reactor at Vattenfall

Vattenfall is seeking a student to conduct a master’s thesis on the relationship between calculated and measured temperatures in the reactor core of a pressurized water reactor at Ringhals. The work involves analyzing correlations between measurement signals, reactor core models, and operating conditions, and requires technical physics education, data handling and programming experience, and Swedish and English writing skills. The assignment is 30 credits, starts on 2027-01-11 or by agreement, and applications were due 2026-10-18.
