Description
Bosch is seeking a six-month thesis student to model leakage through rough elastomer–steel contact in a static, elastic state. The work involves reviewing existing models, implementing the most suitable industrial model, comparing it with in-house contact-mechanics tools and analytical multiscale equations, and deriving surrogate or metamodels from simulation data. The role requires on-site presence, a relevant master’s-level education, simulation and mathematical-modeling experience, initial Python or MATLAB experience, fluent English, and good German skills.
